Tuition and Fees

Entry Level Courses

Matwork Mastery: $497 / $347 two weeks in advance of class
Includes 15 hours of class.
• Fees may be credited toward enrollment in Intermediate level training, when enrolling within one year.
• Course included in full training enrollment at no additional charge.

Pathways of Qi: $447 / $297 two weeks in advance of class
includes 12 hours of class.
• Fees may be credited toward enrollment in Intermediate level training, when enrolling within one year.
• Course included in full training enrollment at no additional charge.

Touching Ki, Healing Secrets of HeartMind Shiatsu: $797 / $697 two weeks in advance of class
This in depth 5 day immersion course is the first module of the professional training and may be taken as a stand alone continuing education course. It is open at the beginning of the Basic Training space allowing, and also offered one other time each year.
• Tuition fees paid can be credited toward enrollment in the full training.

* A $100 non-refundable deposit will hold your place in any introductory course. In the event of a need to withdrawal prior to the start of the course, this $100 may be applied to your discovery session/application fee for the professional training, or applied to a future course offering. Professional Training

Application and Enrollment Fee: $100
The first step in enrolling in the HeartMind Shiatsu Basic or Full Professional Training is a brief application process and an in-depth discovery call. One of our trained staff connects with you one-on-one to explore your goals and aspirations and help you make the best decision for your future goals in the healing arts and guide you through the HeartMind Shiatsu training process. Your non-refundable $100 fee will be credited to your tuition upon acceptance into the program.

Basic Training: $3497 (does not include tuition for Pathways or Elevate)

includes 150 hours of class and 1 small group tutorial.
• 2 private HeartMind Shiatsu professional sessions are additionally required to be paid separately to chosen therapist.
Intermediate Training: $3997 (includes tuition for Pathways)
includes 150 hours of class and 2 small group tutorials
• 4 private HeartMind Shiatsu professional sessions are required at this level, to be paid separately to chosen therapist.
Advanced Training: $4497 (includes tuition for Elevate)
includes 150 hours of class, 2 small group tutorials and one Final Practical Exam, and all Graduation Fees
• 4 private HeartMind Shiatsu professional sessions are required at this level, to be paid separately to chosen Therapist.

Full Training
$1000 down payment, 20 monthly payments of $598 ($12,960) ($26.34/credit hour)

Basic Training

$800 down payment, 6 monthly payments of $598 ($4388) ($26.12/credit hour)
Advanced Training

Basic and Full Training Tuition and Fees include the following additional study requirements to be scheduled with HeartMind Faculty and staff. Requirements will be outlined at each level of training.
• Required Small Group Tutorials
• Optional study groups / practice classes

Paying your Intermediate and Full Training Tuition and Fees will include the above, and also the Elevate Your Healing Practice and Pathways of Qi weekend workshops. If you have taken either of these courses prior to enrolling in the Intermediate Training, all fees paid will be credited toward the full tuition.

Other Expenses
Tuition and fees DO NOT include the following outside-of-class requirements to be scheduled with HeartMind faculty and staff.
• Ten required private HeartMind Shiatsu sessions, at chosen Therapist’s current Private Session rate.
• Any additional private or semi-private tutorials.
• Additional Required Materials Fees – Books, Charts, Mat, Bolster Set, Clinic Uniform

Additional private sessions and tutorials are encouraged as they will greatly enhance your progress, but are not required. Students are responsible for any associated fees. In some cases, additional tutorials will be required to make up missed work, or to improve progress if certain learning goals are not achieved.

Private Tutorials are billed at the given therapist’s private session rate.
Additional Small Group Tutorials involve 2 to 4 students for three hours, billed at $75 per student.

In addition to the tuition and fees noted above, students are responsible for purchasing books, study materials and Shiatsu supplies.  Actual costs may vary, details available upon registration.

Refund/Withdrawal/Transfer Policy:

Introductory Courses
A $100 non-refundable deposit will hold your place in any introductory course. In the event of a need to withdrawal prior to the start of the course, this $100 may be applied to your discovery session/application fee for the professional training, or applied to a future course offering. We look forward to helping you realize your goals in the healing arts.

Professional Training
If a student withdraws after signing an Enrollment Agreement and making a deposit or his/her first payment for the program, there will be a withdrawal fee of $150. (Any student desiring to pay cash agrees to allow HeartMind to keep a credit card on file to cover any missed deadlines or early withdrawal fees.)

Any student enrolled in a program that is discontinued by the school shall receive a complete refund of all fees and/or tuition paid.

As a matter of courtesy, students should give written notification to HeartMind Bodywork (in person or by registered mail) of their intention to withdraw from a program. However, HeartMind Bodywork does not require written notification of withdrawal as a condition for making refunds. If no notification of withdrawal is received, and a student has had an unexplained absence of more than four (4) consecutive class days, HeartMind Bodywork shall consider the student to have withdrawn from the program. Determination that a student has withdrawn shall be made within 30 days of the last day of attendance. In all cases, the date of withdrawal shall be the last day of attendance.

Upon receipt of written notice of withdrawal or from the date the institution terminates the student or determines that the student has withdrawn, tuition and fees will be refunded based on the following fee schedule:
If a student has signed up for a Payment Plan, the above refund policy and percentage completion will apply on a per hour tuition basis. All payments scheduled for hours and modules after the date of withdrawal will be cancelled. Refunds will be calculated based on total tuition obligation as per contract, divided by total tuition hours offered, less all course hours already completed. Refunds will be made within thirty days after receipt of the student’s written notice of withdrawal. Official date of termination will be the last date the student attended classes. Please note: No refunds will be made for books, supplies, tools, etc.

Transfer: Students who need to withdrawal but wish to continue at a later date may do so with carry over tuition credit given according to the same schedule as that for withdrawal, with the exception that rather than the withdrawal fee of $150, tuition credit shall be subject to a transfer fee of $100.
